Requirements for Transportation Schedules

Which schedules must be sent?

  • Principally, all transports carrying at least one label animal.
  • A sequencing of the sending of schedules into 2-3 blocks of 2-4 weeks per year is possible.
  • The traders are requested to provide schedules covering all of their trading territory, i.e., if necessary, all of Switzerland.

When do the schedules have to be with the Inspection Service?

  • In the evening prior to the transport at latest. Weekly schedules are also possible.

Which information needs to be given?

  • Transport company

  • Date of transport

  • Producer's name, address and phone number

  • Label and category of animals

  • Number of animals per producer

  • Scheduled arrival time at final destination

  • Abattoir or other final destination

Further information (not compulsory)

  • Driver's name (optional)

  • Driver's phone number (optional)

  • Succession of producers (optional)

  • Scheduled loading time on the farms (optional)

  • Grouping of producers' animals on vehicle (optional)

  • Additional producers served without label animals or QM-animals (optional)
